Itinerary
Arrival at Sawai Madhopur train station, our representative will pickup you and escort you from train station to resort. There, you will be checked into a pre-booked wildlife resort or hotel.
After a brief rest and lunch, you will be taken on a sightseeing tour to Ranthambore Fort, if time permits.
Ranthambore Fort is a 10th century ancient fort located within the boundaries of the national park. Although a major part of the fort is in ruins, the architectural beauty, historic importance, and the natural ambience, make it an interesting site to visit.
The tour takes approximately two hours for the journey and exploration time. Thus, this activity depends on the timing of your train and the time you reach Ranthambore.
Early Morning you will be pick up from your resort and taken on an early morning jeep safari inside the park. Early morning is the right time to spot many birds and interesting collection of mammals. You will be travelling with an experienced naturalist, who will guide you throughout the safari.
The morning safari stretches for three hours. Ranthambore National Park is 392 square kilometers in area and is a famous tiger reserve. Apart from the majestic tigers, the park is also famous for spotting animals like hyena, dhole, chital, sambar, nilgai, sloth bear, leopard, wild boar, and other.
After safari, you will be taken back to the resort for breakfast and a brief rest. You can enjoy any in-resort activities or facilities, if you wish to do so.
After lunch, get ready for the adventure of evening safari in the park. Ranthambhore national park is the place of large tiger population and this is the best place to see the lifestyle of the Royal Bengal Tigers.
After evening safari with a naturalist, you will be taken back to the resort for dinner and stay.

FAQ
As Ranthambore is 180 kms from Jaipur and 280 kms from Agra, often visitors drive down to this place via Tonk (on the way from Jaipur) or Dausa (on the way from Agra). However, you may also take a train to Sawai Madhopur, for the town lies on the main Delhi - Mumbai train route and has excellent rail connectivity with all the major cities and station in India.
For the best wildlife view, you may hop on a safari when the sun rays are not quite strong, i.e. early mornings or late evenings. However, morning safaris are better during summers and evening ones are better in the winters.

Great for 4-5 hours to explore. Really a lot to see and tons of photo spots. Even have a passport for you to collect all the stamps as a souvenir. Must see for a Harry Potter fan.
